OoC: This is just an example join-in. I have not made anything like a storyline, so it's entirely up to the joiners where this story goes to! Everyone's allowed to join in, but remember to make a Character Sheet first so everyone knows what he could expect from your character!
Don't forget the rules.

Note: The Character Sheet board is made!

BiC!

Suddenly, the cup was empty. After several minutes of fullness, it was drained empty, and placed back on its wooden habitat. The creature that drank the tea sighed, and put his hat back onto his head, a green top hat on a scaled head that could've been a Lizard's head. Which it of course was.

He stood up and dragged his abnormally long tail to the counter, where the barman, Frodo, was cheerfully chatting with the young lady from the Shops.
"Oi, Frodo," the Lizard said, "I'm ssorry to interrupt your chat, but i'm thirssty and not in a good mood."
"That's all right, V. Just gimme the cup and ye'll be fine."
The scaled hand reached out, holding the cup which Frodo then took out of it and filled with tea again.
"Two sugar, it was?", the Lizard nodded.

After two plop's, the cup was handed back to V.
He placed the cup back on the wooden table, ignoring the thing until the contents were drinkable.
"Ssuch a boring day...", he thought. There was almost nothing going on. Just the casual thievery, trade, and whatever one could expect in Thais. Even the weather was boring; sunny with a few drops of rain here and there.

OoC: The story's in you're hands from now on. Think of something nice, come up with ideas! Good luck, people!

As the sun raise to high noon, a young boy barely out of his teens yet walks into Frodo's Pub.

He looks to be around seventeen or such, with an odd dark green hair with black tint, added with the fact that his eyes blue as the crystal seas.

He wore a very light looking armor, which was more of a chest plate and he wore a pair of gauntlets that had ridges on them. He wasn't wearing any leg protection, other than a pair of loose pants and what looks like heavy boots.

He also wore a strap which was holding a one sided long sword that was on his back. Though what gave his heritage away was the icon of the hawk with dragon legs and tail on his chest plate's back and front. His name was Hazour Hawkdragon.

Hazour looked about and notice a lizard sitting, wearing a top hat at that!

He couldn't help but gawk at him with a child's curiosity. Though he soon turned away and tried not to seem rude for doing so.

"I wonder if the food here is cheap? I was told that my elder clan members came here from time to time. Lazerel, Menzol, and even Myros were here at some point."

Hazour looked about the pub with wonder, trying to see if there would be some way he could connect with his clan member's history.

He then looked at the lizard once more and gulped, hoping he won't get on the lizard's bad side for intruding on his tea time.

"Excuse me sir." Hazour spoke nervously, as he notice the lizard was likely twice his height, "Do you know much about this city Thais? I happen to be starting on a journey, one which is a custom ritual of my clan. Tell me, do you by some chance know anyone with the last name Hawkdragon besides me?"

Then Hazour realize his rudeness, "Ahh by the way I'm Hazour Hawkdragon. You pronounce it as Ha-zoo-r, the u is silent. Can you help me out?"

Hazour made a cheerful smile at the lizard's way, hoping he didn't make himself look like a complete novice.

Growling, the Lizard lifted his cup again, as a young man with a good taste of hair colour walked up.
"Yess, lad. I do know ssome of them..."
He used to know various ones, surnames slipping away from his mind now. He had a hard time remembering people lately, though a few were burnt in his memory.
"Hawkdragon, Hawkdragon..."

He got up, throwing the last tea in his throat.
"I'm ssorry, lad. I can't remember any ssurnamess right now, but I can assure you that you're not the first Hawkdragon I ssee."
As he walked to the bar, he asked "Do you want anything to drink? I've got enough gold, sso eat your heart out. Or rather drink."

A young girl, merely 16 years old, sits in the corner. Her whole body is covered with a heavy, black cloak and she sits back in the shadows. A cup of water stands before her, untouched since Frodo put it there. She observes the two man in the tavern, who seem to talk about people who once came here. One of the man looks quite young, the other looks... well not like a man. Eilfy is intrigued by the looks of this man... or is it a man?

Noting her uncomfortable position, she carefully moves her legs trying to keep the cloak in place. She doesn't notice that the edge of the chair she's using is the only thing she still sits on. As she still focusses on the lizardman, she moves a bit more forward.

She feels she's losing her balance and with the clumsy waving of her arms, she tries to regain her balance... but fails. With a loud 'bang' she lands with her nose on the edge of the table, the water that was on it lands all over her on its turn. Ashamed she looks around, hoping no one saw it.

The whole little skit was seen by a woman leaning against the wall most furtherest away from the windows.

She was wearing a flowing black robe, more of a one piece type of robe that reached to her ankles. She was drinking a small mug of wine, something that shouldn't be done so early in the day.

Her hair was lavender with some reddish single hairs that stood out, and her skin was of a copper tan. She watched with some amusement, with her bright emerald eyes, at the other girl who was trying to make the accident look like nothing.

"I guess it can't be helped... I'll go and aid her for now. Since this dull day will kill me if I don't do anything interesting." She thought whimsically to herself and calmly got up and stroll toward the young lass.

"Well you seem to have a slight misfortune hun, care for some help there?" The woman spoke gingerly and with slight amusement in her lips. Then she offer her hand to help the girl up.

"By the way, since I'm making my presence know. I'm know as Shyra... may I know you name?" Shyra said gleefully, and there was some hint of mischief in her intentions.

Eilfy looks up when she hears a woman's voice offering help to her. At first, she only sees two bright emerald colored eyes. For a moment, she just looks up not realising that the woman consists of more than the two eyes.

"Oh yes, thanks. I'm a little bit clumsy today I think, shouldn't be like that. I'm sorry!"

Quickly she stands up, now realising that the cloak no longer hides her face. Her dark blonde, shortly cut hair looks as if she just got out of bed. Her eyes, a mixture of the colors green and grey look surprised and ashamed at the same time. Her face shows she's young, but physically well developed with her skin slightly colored by the sun.

"Well... I'm Eilfy and I am just hanging around here... yes just hanging around" she answers with a timid voice

Walking into the tavern, a tall man, with the body of a warrior silouettes himself against the night sky in the tavern door. He looks around, and approaches the bar keep, with a few hushed words, Ren walks away with a mug of beer in his hand, as he walks across the bar, a table falls and nudges his sword at his side, he snarls and immediatly grabs the hilt of the sword. Looking down at the helpless teenage girl that had caused the trouble, he released the sword. Seeing a person of his own age caused a hesitation that he was not familiar with. Raised by monks his whole life, he had always been the youngest person in his life by a gap of at least 20 years, being his first trip into a civalised town, he was stopped in his track,s

He snarls and walks away, confident that nobody saw him go for his weapon, looking around, he looks for the most likley person who could help him. He sees a lizardman in the corner, and makes a note to not go near such dirty creatures. He approaches the young girl who knocked over the table, primarily to ask her for what it was he arrived for, but also quitely hoping in the back of his mind that he could become familiar with someone his own age.

when the woman in the black cloak was done helping her Ren moves swiftly toward her, giving the woman a glare to tell her that she was not welcome in this conversation. Ren hoped the young girl had not noticed and that the woman would not bother them. He leaned over and said softly in her ear.
"Please, ma'am, would you happen to know how I might find a passage to the Ice island of Svargrond?" He cursed himself for the weakness he was showing in his face. But his joy for finding someone of his own age, and of such beauty, could not be hidden.

Shyra was quite amuse with Eilfy, since her appearance reminded her of two particular children who were under her care when she donned another identity.

Though before she did anything else, she felt someone made a glare at her; but she left it be, since if anyone were to make an attack on her now...

Things would get very ugly for the town.

"Well then Eilfy, I'm please to meet your acquaintance. Do you need a new set of clothes? Or sometime to dry yourself up?"

Then a young man, or maybe somewhat older that appearance barged in with a question.

"Please, ma'am, would you happen to know how I might find a passage to the Ice island of Svargrond?"

Shyra turned slightly to face the speaker. She knew he was referring to Eilfy, but decided to play along in getting involve.

"Well young man, I think you need to head out to the docks just west from here. Then go meet one of the fine captains who have decent manners to take you to Svargrond. Trust me, there are some sailors who always look for fights and easy girls these. None have any manners or proper sense."

Shyra let out a casual sigh and returned her gaze at Eilfy, she leaned close to her and whisper softly to her ear.

"Careful with that young man near us. He seems to be vying for your attention. Hehehe"

With that Shyra fixed the table up right and using her magic, brought her mug of wine from the other table to her hand.

She calmly drained the rest of it and looked at the other two people sitting over yonder. The lizard and the young man who bared a familiar symbol she recognized.

"I think we should have a toast! A small drinking celebration for this nice little meeting."

She shouted toward the lizard and young man.

"Hello Strangers! Mind celebrating with us to kill this dull and boring day? The drinks are on me. Since I haven't been on a drinking spree for a good while."

Shyra then wrapped her arms around Eilfy, making a sly smile.

"You're going to be my drinking buddy right? Oh don't worry, it doesn't have to be alcohol... you could have some tea or coffee or more water."

Shyra made a sly look at the other man who was close to them, which simply stated... 'I dare you to join us'

Shyra figure she'll make the most of these two if possible.

"I sshall never turn down a free cup of tea!", the Lizard shouted back. He strolled through the room, avoiding tables on his way, and finally lowered his bottom on one of the many chairs in the vicinity of his inviter.

"Well then, what are we celebrating?"
He stared around, three unknown faces and a Hawkdragon.
"Hawkdragon... Hawkdragon... I could sswear I've heard it before... Lazarel!Yess!"
"I remember one Hawkdragon, young one. Hiss name wass Lazarel."
As he turned back to the others, he suddenly got struck by the familiar dose of good manners.

"Of do forgive me, people. My name iss Ssilven Viperfang. I hope my appearance didn't sscare you off?"

Hazour simply nodded toward the lizard and notice something.

Wasn't he the one who helped one of my clan members?

Hazour was quite surprise in meeting someone who helped his fellow kin, and bowed humbly to Silven.

"I am honor to meet you Silven. You were one of the few who helped a member of my clan. If you're wondering of relations, he would be my fourth cousin. We have the same great grandfather."

Hazour was now distracted by the black cloaked woman who was now hollering at them to join in a drinking celebration.

"I don't I'm old to drink alcohol anytime soon, but if there is water and some food. I won't mind joining."

Hazour made a polite bow to the lizard and went over to join the three or two people at the other table.

He felt the man's somewhat restlessness with the older of the two ladies.

Though Hazour couldn't take his eyes off of the younger of the two, the lass with the short dark blond hair.

"Good day to you all, my name is Hazour Hawkdragon. I came from out of the continent and just arrived this morning... sort of."

He was slightly embarrass with dealing with the older woman, despite her attractiveness that was something to behold.

Though he simply made a slight bow and commented, "If you're offering water or other drinks, that'll be fine by me."

He was on guard however with this woman, and the guy near him as well. Both seem to have other intentions then what they were appearing for.

Ren made no effort to hide his disgust as the Lizardman strode across the room to join the small party with the young girl.
"What makes you think..." he muttered under his breath, but he didnt think the lizard had heard him. He looked on in distaste at the weak boy, not much older then Ren, bow down to the lizard...
He turned to face the boy "why do you lower yourself to this race?" but he did not wait for an answer.
Ren turned to face the Lizard and lowered his hand to the sword handle. He looked from his sword, back to the lizard, with a small nod, hoping his intentions had been made perfectly clear.

He turned back to the woman, who had interupted and answered the question herself. He was angry that he had been robbed of his first chance to converse with the young girl. It was only because of her now, that he would have to sit and put up with some damned lizard, untill they had all gone, and he could talking to her again. Ren sat, drained hismug, and pulled his cloak hood over his eyes, feigning sleep

Hazour just gave the man an annoyed look.

My reason for bowing to Silven is that he aided a fellow kin of mine, that is more than enough to earn both my respect and gratitude.

Though he refrained himself from lecturing the so called warrior about honor and respect.

Though to be on the safe side, Hazour loosen the strap on his back for his katana.

He had a few battles before and wasn't as weak as many would think he is.

Though new to the world outside, he was given strict training by his fellow kinsmen; to them a battle was like art, or rather training the body to such levels was art.

Hazour shrugged coldly, since he knew outsiders and narrow minded people would never understand the rich culture and history of his people.

He open up a small pouch strapped to his right leg and pull on a leather glove. Though this glove had a bright ruby jewel encrusted into it.

I was trained in some forms of magic and can wield both blade and spell into battle easily. Lazerel himself trained me and I sparred with Menzol himself. Though I wonder how my kin brothers are doing.

Besides himself there were a few others setting out and journeying the lands.

Though now, Hanzour decided to enjoy the other people's company, except of the arrogant guy who gave him the rude question.

Annoyed at the disturbances he was getting, he threw the hood back of his head.
He turned his head slowly with a smirk and looked at the lizard.
"I was raised by the monks of the Whiteraven monestary"
"You interact withus as if you were human... You are no creation of banor. You are beneath me, and you are lucky that my sword is not drawn, seeing as you seem to think you ahve the right to talk to me."

He then turned to the boy who had spoken back to him "Boy, you have the mind set of a great warrior, and it shall take you to grand places. However, do not think that you need to teach a warrior of my calibar the lessons of honour. I have honour. I reserve it for thoes who are capible to receive it."

Ren again pulled the cloak up over his head and eyes "Now, please...I would rest here a while"

A good laugh's always welcome. And so did the Lizard laugh heartily, never did he hear such a good one.
"Me, lucky for you not drawing your ssword? Oh, my friend... If you wissh to fight me, we can go outsside, but I tell you, you won't like it..."

Another sip, and the cup was empty again. Better not to drink more tea, or Silven would start a battle himself on that very chair.

"And no, I am not a creation of that low-life god Banor. Zathroth iss my father."
