Lazerel accepted the help the two offer and added, "I thank you for assisting me on my quest. Though I do not wish any harm to befall any of you as you have proven to be trustworthy allies."

Lazerel got up from his chair and walked over to the young woman in question that Tengai pointed out. Lazerel sat down in front of the lady and looked at her with quiet eyes.

He then spoke, without hinting any emotion or anger.

"You seem to be quiet interested in me and friends sitting over at the table. I don't suppose you're just looking at my friend Stalpho here who in his own right is suitable for your tastes."

Lazerel made a slight smile, but in truth he was not interested in any relationships... he was still worrying about his wife and child.

Though if this young lady was thinking of following them, it would be best to deal with the issue now... rather than later when things go up the creek.

Tengai relaxes and watches the scene go on. The more, the merrier... I guess.

He looks at Stalpho and grimaces in disgust under his hood. Too young... too naïve so a potential danger for us all if he doesn't wish to grow up or at least develop his senses a bit more. He has potential... both for the positive and the negative.

Tengai stands up and walks over to Lazarel. He puts his hand on Lazarel's shoulder but without any touch of friendship. "I wonder if you mind introducing me to this... lovely young woman?" Tengai's voice has the cold tone of a merciless murderer who has just seen his newest victim.

It is the dream afraid of waking, that will never take the chance.

OOC: last post of the day.. need to work

Lazerel merely laughs, but it was one of no feeling and yet somewhat strained.

"Well Tengai... my new 'friend'. Please introduce yourself to the fine lass here. Though as for me, I'll be going to find some more clues around here. Then I'll rest."

With that Lazerel got out of his chair and walked to the pub owner for questioning.

Leaving Tengai and Stalpho with the young lady in question.

Merea was not surprised on the trio spotting her. The actions she'd carried out during the latest minutes, hours maybe, she wasn't too sure; definitely weren't the most... unsuspicious. On the other part, she was relieved that those people didn't take the usual all-nice and friendly with the more or less fake smiles. Which Merea had fair problems with distinguishing from the real ones anyway.

"I won't get into denying that I have been acting suspiciously," she started evenly, trying and fitting a smile on. "But I surely didn't mean any harm. I happened to stumble upon your... fight. Somehow, I kind of got stuck on the scene." At this point, she paused slightly, although continuing soon enough.

"I did not have much of idea as for what I'd do when I, uhm, got myself... detached of the situation. I don't really know how I ended up following you, guess you piqued my subconscious interest. As I already stated, no harm intended."

With that last repeat, Merea shut up and started going through what she'd just said.

Tengai observes the woman from under his hood and slowly sits down on the chair opposite of the woman.

"I see..." he says on a cold tone. "So would you mind telling us why your interest hasn't faded after we ended the fight? Apparently you found it... necessary to follow us."

Tengai puts his hand on the table, revealing the upper part of his flamed tattoo up and around his fingers.

"I hope for you that you mean us no harm and for now I'll believe you," he leans forward and whispers to her: "But do not betray me if you know what I mean." The lightfall reveals his mouth partly and a grin can be seen.

He leans back and continues on a more friendly tone "So who are you?"

Through out this little interrigation you could call it Stalpho just stood there looking like a very mean person, scowling at the female.

Lazerel was asking the Pub owner if he spotted anything unusual other then the undead raid to the City...

The pub owner, giving one good look at Lazerel's pants leg's icon, merely grunted and said.

"We don't need some foreign clan nomad asking about our city's business. Now git... I don't want to be seen dealing with the likes of ya."

Lazerel merely sighed in disbelief of how much his Tribes were disdain by outsiders. So he returned to the table and saw the guys still interrogating the young lass.

Lazerel felt this must be some form of fate, since he now likely has three traveling companions to aid him in his hunt for Myros.

Walking up to the table again, he sat down and breathe a sigh.

"Well if Miss Mage wishes to accompany us in the hunt... so be it. Though I guess I should go a little bit more into detail so she as well as you guys can understand why this hunt is a bit personal... though before I do so."

Lazerel pulls out a cup of ale and drinks it.

"I would like you guys to put a little trust in me in giving some background information about yourselves, with that mind... I'll reveal the information that I did not speak about."

With that Lazerel looked at each of the faces in his company.

Stalpho looks around then takes a seat. "Well I geuss I'll go first, you want to know a little about me. First off if I see an orc I will probly get extremly mad and kill this orc or orcs. We do not have a good relationship. Another thing about me is that I am independatly wealthy, have a house in Venore.

"I also have a bit of knowledge of living in forests as I lived there my first 30 years of my life hunting stuff" after saying stuff Stalpho got the same facial expression as when he had mentioned orcs.

Any other questions? If not then good.

"Hmm," Tengai looks at Lazarel. "If you insist..."

He slowly leans back and grabs the flask that is attached to the belt around his waist. With slow movements he takes a sip and puts the flask back to its original place again.

"I am as you may have noticed a magician. My dominant elment is fire... as you may have noticed as well. I have travelled alone for years and become quite skilled in the art of... well let's say killing."

Tengai pauses for a moment, enjoying the impact of his story. He looks around at the faces of the others and can't inhibit a slight smile.

"Due to many years of training my face is a bit... marked. I do not wish to reveal it in such a public place which is the reason I'm always hooded. I will reveal my face to your at a more suitable place."

He leans back, awaiting any further questions.

So both Stalpho and Tengai are older then me by a certain amount of years...

Lazerel took in the information of Tengai and Stalpho, though while waiting for the mage girl, he himself gave some more information as he made some of his own thoughts.

"Well I shall give out some of my own background... and know that I asked this information from you to better know how to handle the situations that will surely come."

Smiling, yet not the kind of the cheery smile one would have, it was a smile of someone who had a painful burden and was merely thinking of laughing it off.

"Myros Hawkdragon... he is my kins brother and fellow trainee under the now decease Kazame. He left the clan after a war against the marauding orcs who were lead by a traitor of our clan.

Myros and I kept contact, but then after certain events... we lost contact for seven years. Then news and rumors came to our ears by the winds of a being with tremendous power that was from making a pact with the gods who our clans oppose."

Lazerel took a sip of the ale and went on.

"I said it was my duty to eliminate my brother... well it is also my own curse. See I fail to kill him when we had the chance, this lead to the deaths of many and many more in the following time ahead.

You see... my clans exiled me and have place much restrictions on my wife and child who I could not wittiness the birth...

You could say... I'm conflicted on whether to kill my brother since we made a pact to aid one another, and then my duty as both husband and father to ensure my family's future."

Lazerel then looked at mage girl...

"Now seems you're the only one who needs to share, or course I did not say you were obligated to do so. Though know that it will be hard to work with others who you can't completely trust."

Directing his next words to Stalpho and Tengai.

"I'll put my trust and make a gamble on you both, since this hunt has dragged on too long and I resolved myself to see my family."

The group could feel Lazerel's dark mood for vengeance.

Tengai looks at Lazarel's face.

"I hope you realise that any... emotional motivations will not aid our mission."

Tengai turns his full attention to Lazarel and continues on a whispering tone. He leans slightly forward and whispers to Lazarel:

"I have heard of the dark energy of Myros. You did choose an interesting person to be your enemy. He kills without mercy and it seems like he is searching for something."

Tengai leans back again and turns his speech to the rest of the group. With a grin on his face, hidden under his hood, he exclaims lightly:

"You can choose now whether you are really a thrill-seeker or a coward..."

This is getting more interesting with the second. I have to keep an eye on this quest without getting myself too exhausted.

[OoC: Not to have Merea asking this IC; how the heck could Lazerel know her name without asking it first? You should edit that out. And yes, my character's the usual annoying, mysterious and incoherent type. ;> ]

Now that it'd come to the introductions, Merea found herself in a slightly difficult situation. Despite the restless thoughts, she did her best to keep a somewhat calm and friendly outside.

"Seeing that you haven't revealed your names to me yet, I ain't in any obligation to reveal mine first. But again, there's this other matter, which is: I'm unable to recall, thus also unable to announce my real name."

A thoughtful pause.

"There's one I have somewhat accustomed myself to. I usually go by the name 'Merea.' "

She paused again, to chew on the information she'd given to the others. Having met and heard of people who had forgotten their names before, she had adopted the excuse, not to be forced to revealing her 'true' name. Stating not to have a name would be rather bizarre, for a human. Or so she'd comprehended.

"Your mission is apparently to pursue someone, and finish that someone off. Correct me if I've misunderstood anything, alright..?

You all seem to be rather competent in fighting. One way or another. I, on my part, ain't that much of a fighter. Don't get me wrong, I can do something. Ask, if you're interested."

"You," Merea began, motioning ever so slightly at Tengai. "Mentioned the term 'dominant element'. Mine would pretty much be water."

As Stalpho absorbs all this information he leans back in his chair thoughtfully listening to it all. The woman revealed her name but not much about her, will have to watch her carefully.

"Well Merea my name is Stalpho but were are you from is really what I want to know" squints Stalpho as he stares at Merea.

As Stalpho leans back in his chair he mutters to himself "Great I'm in a group of magic users, this shall be interesting."

Merea started slightly at the question. To her fortune, a quick answer popped up in her mind.

"I don't really.. Oh, well. Does the answer 'from the overseas' satisfy you?"

"It will work for now, but I still don't entirely trust you." Stalpho stares at Merea for a few more seconds then turns his attention towards Lazareal.

"So Lazareal how are we going to find this Myros person. And can you finish the job that you could not finish a few years ago" Stalpho stares at Lazareal waiting for the answer, but his attention wanders around the bar taking in everything that he can.
