Seeing how both Stalpho and Lazarel are in some troubles, Tengai quickly moves towards Stalpho first. The young man has a minor cut.

I can't heal it but I can at least give him the spirit to go on... along with a slight increase of powers: Nárë mellon. From the flames of his hand a slight fire spirit emerges and makes his way to Stalpho, soon entering via Stalpho's skin and giving him some strength back.

"Now for Lazarel..." Tengai mutters to himself. With a swift movement, almost like an athlete, he avoids an attack and thrusts his staffdagger into the back of the undead human. "Too bad boy..." he mumbles.

It takes a bit before he catches sight of Lazarel, who is surrounded by numerous undead. Tengai quickly moves around the undead and mumbles "Pentë Nárë" on which a ball of fire comes from his hands and strikes half of the enemies. Tengai goes to Lazarel while swinging his staff around, hitting several other undead creatures.

"Lazarel, I don't know who you are but you are entertaining me. Let's get ourselves out of this mess quickly, those undead do not give very good company," Tengai says to Lazarel while killing another undead troll.

Lazerel made a slight nod and quickly spoke to Tengai.

"While you're right about that, I must ensure all undead are terminated here. The safety of the living will need to come first, and also-"

Lazerel parried a wild swing of an axe wielding orc skeleton, and with fluid motion deliver a thrusting strike into it and lifted it up with a roar.

Swinging the impale undead, Lazerel hurled it into another pack of undead with a crash.

He quickly finished his comment.

"My quarry's scent is all over these undead, I know he must be here somewhere since these things belong to him. A knight in black armor... with long pale green hair."

Lazerel knelt down and called forth the wind element that resided in him. His arm tattoos began to pulse and energy flowed from his arms to his Naginata.

Lazerel hurled himself into another squadron of undead and twirling his Naginate with increasing speed, sent them all upward into the air... in sliced bits.

Quickly returning to Tengai and Stalpho's side, Lazerel continued looking for any signs of Myros.

Stalpho is suddenly rejuvanted, wondering what had happened Stalpho saw Tengai moving away and he knew what had happened.

Seeing the undead just stream in was slightly aweing but he knew that they couldn't just keep coming forever. Stalpho hesitaded to use this but seeing that other people had used magic and no one had shunned him then maybe these people wouldn't shun him like the nomads had.

Stalpho pulled out a scroll that he had aquired, as he was holding the scroll it started to smoke. Stalpho looked at the undead and then said the magic words to unlock the scroll "Feuer." The scroll burst into a flaming wheel and started to spin down the street. Each time it hit an undead the undead burst into flames.

The fire wheel kept rolling in a straight path, if an undead was off its path the wheel spit out a tongue of fire killing it. The fire wheel lasted about 30 seconds then went out.

The fire wheel took a lot of energy and Stalpho had to lean against a building or else he would have toppled. The fire wheel had killed many undead but there were still a few around. "Hopefully there is not a third wave" thought Stalpho.

Nodding to Lazarel as a sign he understood the message, Tengai starts looking out for a knight in black armor, just as Lazarel described. While parrying strikes from enemies and thrusting his staff into some clumsy approaching undead, his attention is drawn by the young Stalpho.

From Stalpho, a spinning wheel of fire emerges, taking out many of the undeads. Tengai stands in surprise for a bit but quickly regains his cold attitude and starts killing more undeads, without showing any mercy.

When most of the undeads are finished off, the remaining are merely running around without causing too much damage, Tengai moves to Stalpho and whispers in his ear: "That was a nice move there, any urge to tell me who taught you that?"

Stalpho murmurs "A very expensive scroll." After a few moments Stalpho grabs ahold of Tengai's arm "Please help me that scroll took most of my remaining energy and I fear I won't be able to walk unassisted."

The deed was done...

Myros stood at the front of the deck at the front of the ship.

The captain and his crew proved no match for him and his forces, but they weren't kill and eaten.

They were converted immediately and were now enslaved my Myros's domination enchantment.

"Lets get ship moving!!" Myros commanded in an unholy tone.

The brainwash captain merely moaned and his crew began to get the ship ready to leave port.

The ship's cargo was quickly put into place and several of the undead that traveled with Myros jumped ship and began wandering into Carlin's streets, looking for a bite to eat.

"Now toward Edron... with all due haste."

Myros sneered with anticipation and the ship began to move out into the seas.

With that Myros turned on his heels and went below deck, to avoid being seen by a particular hunter.

Tengai nods while under his head he smirks at the boy. Looks like he is not that capable of using magic after all... such a disappointment. He holds his staff out for Stalpho and signals him to grab onto it. While removing the dagger and putting it back under his robes, Tengai helps Stalpho to get back to Lazarel.

"Looks like most undead are gone though I did not see a sign of the knight as you described him. I assume that the guards can take care of the remaining few... creatures. Let's head to a quiet place to share some opinions and interests on this matter."

Tengai looks at Lazarel, trying to see if his face reveals anything of his thoughts but it doesn't. "Any idea where to go? I think this young lad needs some... rest as well," Tengai sayd while pointing at Stalpho.

Lazerel merely nodded, though he was actually restraining he need to roar in complete anger for not locating Myros.

"You're right this fight did took a lot on us, and I couldn't locate nor sense my quarry's presence... perhaps this was-"

The image of Tengai and Stalpho seem to distort and swing slightly to the left and then right. Lazerel quickly grabbed hold of the lamp post and leaned on it.

"Seems I too, am in need of rest. I used my wind element while I was exhausted... even if I found my quarry now. It won't do any good if I can not fight him at full strength. Lead the way to any place you deem it safe for a while rest... I'll follow since I don't know my way around here."

Lazerel was still trying to think of what was Myros's ploy of sending those two waves of undead into Carlin... what could he be hoping to accomplish?

At the moment Lazerel needed rest and he could see the guards and some other adventurers fending off the remaining undead with ease. Since he, Tengai, and Stalpho took out the larger forces to even the playing feild.

"Yes... rest will be much needed."

Lazerel said in tired words. Though he was thinking of his wife and child back at the Clan Territories....

Tengai grins at Lazarel: "Looks like you really need some rest too... besides that it might be a good idea to empty your mind from any... thoughts that could distract you from the fight."

Tengai takes Stalpho and Lazarel and leads them to the local tavern. "Personally... I do not like this city nor its inhabitants. People here always tend to get a little suspicous around my appearance thus I usually avoid being here."

Leading Lazarel and Stalpho to a quiet corner, Tengai takes a flask from his belt and takes a sip. He looks around for Xalaroth but doesn't see him anywhere.

[OoCness: The first part of the post happens when the fight is still going on.]

During the very middle of the fight, a woman appeared from a secluded alley. Her intention being to pass quickly, she started etching away, along the edge of the street. The masses of undead were still packing around those three fighters, who were bravely fending the assault off.

The woman's 'mission' of trying to get past the scene easily failed, as a few undead creatures with rotten meat and bones sticking out started to approach her, instead of the defenders. A small mumble about troublesome situations was let out, as she raised one long-sleeved hand towards the approaching trio of undead.

Lucky they aren't skeletons.

Without any further action, the three creatures froze on their movements, halting as though unable to move. This apparently was the case, as the undead were left on the same locations, the woman disappearing to lurk beside a nearby bushy tree.

In nearly no time the defenders became the aggressors, starting to wipe out what was left of the former legion of undead. The frozen-in-place -ones were also sliced in bits without further ado, or any attention to their impassiveness. Merea let out a tiny sigh of relief. She didn't get discovered.

Those three fighters were seemingly complimenting each other and themselves for the successful battle, soon being led by one of their own to a new location. Which, actually, turned out to be the common tavern of the city. With a moment of hesitation, Merea followed them casually to the tavern. She settled down in an isolated table with only one single chair, to avoid people sitting down there and becoming, in some cases, too familiar.

While scanning quietly through the tavern, she let her other ear and eye to keep track on the three in the corner.

[OoC: Oh, and feel free to exhibit überness and spot me, or turn out to have known of my presence all the time, et ceteria. Your choice.]

Lazerel leaned back on the chair and simply dozed off, he heard Tengai saying something about his appearance... but to Lazerel, appearance did not matter to him, it was individual actions and personality that he judges.

However if Lazerel was going to make a complaint, resting on chairs are highly uncomfortable and he would rather sleep under a great tree in the wilderness.

Resting his eye and slowly regaining some of his strength, he dreams of the good old days when he was with his Clan... with many familiar faces, and friends and family who he long to see again.

Except one perhaps...

I wonder how my wide and child are doing? It's been a year...

He dreams echo inside him...

That depends on whether or not you'll get your task done... brother

Myros's voice!! Lazerel in his dream state definitely felt Myros's presence all around him, a mist on the morning sunrise.

What are you doing here Myros?

He remain silent and simply left upon questioning.

-

Lazerel shook himself awake, but his eyes were red due to the trouble of not sleeping well.

It was likely a few minutes... but was a hour when he dozed off.

"Sorry about that... a few days with no sleep and constant pursuing will do that to many hunters. I'm sure you have questions about my hunt right? I'll hear your questions, but deciding to come with me and aiding me will be your own decision and your own lives to watch out for. Since in truth this is mostly my own burden to carry and walk with."

Lazerel said this and felt someone was watching him and his group... but decided to ignore it.

For now.

"Ok for the obvious question what are you hunting and why" said Stalpho. After asking the question Stalpho pulls out some money gives it to a serving maid and gets a huge pitcher full of beer.

"You can all have some, I always think better slightly drunk."

Lazerel took a deep breath and answer the questions.

"Note that what I tell you will remain within our circle of three, no one else needs to know this..."

Waiting for Stalpho to return, Lazerel began his tale about his mission.

"The one I hunt was a former kins member of my Clan the Hawkdragons. He has somehow converted much of his soul and body into that of an undead or so. He is also the one who has killed many people and even wiped out a few cities and kingdoms a year ago in another continent across the seas of Tibia.

This man is a traitor to our clans and we decided to deal with him appropriately. Though he has proven to be far more powerful than any being we ever come against. His name is Myros Hawkdragon and he is my kins brother... we both trained under the same master and fought in many battles together and even adventure through the unknown worlds."

Lazerel placed his elbows on the table and rested his head on his hands, while taking a deep breath.

"I don't know his reason for turning to the side of the undead, but it is our Clan's creed that all who practice the arts of the undead are deemed enemies. If any of our clans were to be sway by such forces, then it is the duty of their kins brother or sister to slay them."

Lazerel remained emotionless, though it was evident he held much anger inside and was merely restraining it.

Tengai sits back and listens to the ongoing conversation between Lazarel and Stalpho. So far, he doesn't hear much that he couldn't have guessed yet.

At the same time he is listening to the two man at his table, his attention is slightly drawn to a woman who seems to be observing them. He turns his head slightly to look at her, without letting her know he is watching.
He takes the flask from his belt and takes another sip, turning his attention back to Lazarel and Stalpho.

"Well Lazarel... if you wish my powers to travel with you I will be your companion in your search for your enemy. However... I have to warn you that the fights against the undeads and our arrival at this tavern has drawn the attention of a woman who is observing is now."

He leans back a bit. I wonder how Lazarel would react if he would notice I am, in fact, sort of undead as well... having demonic blood flowing through my veins I can not be considered human anymore.

He looks at Stalpho and Lazarel, his eyes twinkling under his hood and behind his mask. "For now... I suggest we rest and find out who is so interested in us. I can understand that we are a little... peculiar compared to other people but I doubt she is merely interested in our looks."

"Yes Lazarel I shall also join your little hunt, sounds like a jolly good time." As they are sitting there Tengai remarks about the woman watching them.

"Are you sure Tengai, maybe she is looking at me" jokes Stalpho. "I wonder if we were to just get up and leave if she would follow us. If she does we could have someone split off from the group and hide in an alley. When the woman passes by you just step out and" Stalpho makes a move like smacking someone on the head.

"Now of course this is just one way we could do it, do any of you have some ideas as well" remarks Stalpho.
