Greeting from Tibia RP

Well, as you may or may not have noticed, all supported and promoted fansites of Tibia are allowed their own fansite item. They can then give this item out as a reward for their competitions. Well, being a supported fansite, we're gonna be doing that too. But we can't do it alone, we need your help!

Below are what the first, second and third place winners will receive:
First Place - Winning Item, Yellow Rose, 30 days premium
Second Place - Tome of choice,
Third Place - 2x 100 charged runes of choice

It's quite simple, really. All you have to do is design an item which will be implemented in-game. Although there are some requirements which the item needs to fit:
The item cannot be any larger than 32x32 pixels.
Your item can be animated, but may not contain more than 16 animated frames.
The item needs to be on a monochrome background, that has a color that does not exist in the item itself (eg: pink.)
The item has to be saved as either a BMP or PNG file.
The item must fit into Tibia's setting.
The item should not contain any references to a country.
The item can only be a decoration item, and should not change a characters stats/looks in any way.
The item should have a dark outline (eg: black.)
It must be an item which can be held in-game (so something you can pick up, as long as you have enough capacity.)

When you submit your sprite, please make a new post in this thread. Your post should look something like this:

So the item goes on the first line. If it is an animated sprite, all the separate sprites go on the next. And then goes the reason for why it is related to Tibia RP and/or roleplaying. You can submit as many items as you want (submit three hundred if you can!) but you can only win... once. :wink:

Please only submit items which you have made from scratch. If we discover that you have copied or just blatantly taken someone elses item (from wherever/whoever it may be) you will be immediately excluded from the competition, all future competitions of Tibia RP, and a ban will be placed on your forum account (it could be permanent, or there might be a set time, we'll decide.) :evil: Also please note that CipSoft's content team reserves the right to revise the item.

If you are creating a hangable item, please provide sprites of it on the North and West wall, and a sprite of it on no wall. So what it looks like on the floor.

All submissions are to be posted into this thread, please do not make a new thread for your items.

The competition will start today and will end on January the 10th, CET time.

Having the words 'RP' on the item does not necessarily give it a better chance of winning. Keep that in mind!

THE ITEM MUST BE 100% YOUR OWN, E.G. YOU MUST HAVE MADE IT FROM SCRATCH YOURSELF. IF YOU DID USE A MODEL THE OLD ITEM SHOULD NO LONGER BE RECOGNIZABLE.

Well, I'll give it a shot. It's my first scratch, so it's not the greatest thing in the world, but... I present to you...



Calliope's Tablet*
It is awarded to the winner of a TibiaRP Competition

Little white light, the same as a wand, or a character's regular eye-sight.**
Not wearable (I guess you could use is as a shield, but it wouldn't be practical anyway =P)

This item is related to TibiaRP because...
Calliope was the Greek muse of epic poetry. Whilst most of the muses (Thalia - comedy, Melpemone - tragedy, etc) probably fit, Calliope's emblematic item was a writing tablet. So, I chose this tablet, which being made of stone can only be written on once, but represents the great tales of heroes past and those to come (and let's face it - most of our stories revolve around saving the world. It's quite apropos XD).

* Name subject to discussion, that's just where I drew the inspiration from.
† Suggested weight, it may be different, just realistic. It is a rather large block of rock.
** Forgot to mention: The idea is the light of inspiration of the muses. Light is optional, of course, I just thought it might be an interesting detail.

As a side note, the small dots on it spell "Hail TibiaRP!" in braille.

Also a tip for those of you who may not know: save it in PNG, it's one of the best formats for images there is.

Question: Can the sprite be a radically edited version of an existing in-game sprite?

I believe it can, since the award-item for
Tibia Nordic was, or rather is, a modified
doll; dressed in Northern clothes.

Because this site is about Roleplaying, and legend behold this book is supposed to contain "...the tales of every role player in tibia..." Also because, when i think of books, i think of storys and when i think of storys i think of Roleplaying just kind of goes together

@ Erdge: You need an application that handles animated gifs, like Adobe Imageready. I don't think there are any for free online, but you might be able to find a 30 day trial one.

Then again, you don't need to make it, just make the separate frames. That'll still give you an idea of what it'll look like (in an image viewer) without having to download or buy anything.
