Native Boards?
Haven't browsed through the pages but in my opinion we would need native chat boards.
Where role players and members optionally can use their own native language and not forced to speak English over the forums all the time.

Pretty much all the various forums I've been a member on and visited had some sort of boards for their members to relax at.

I would say it could be an amount of maybe 4-5'ish boards containing the most commonly used languages like, Brazilian, Polish, German, Swedish.. etc. Then add a designated moderator to each board who speaks the language to maintain it properly. Aswell as a English one where people can discuss FREELY about things, ex no special board subjects.

And yes, i know there are General Discussions and Real Life, but neither of them really fits in. Alternatively adding sub-forums to General Discussions and changing the main board description a bit.

RE: Native Boards?
I think this is a good idea, gives everyone their own little place to sit back and relax and not have to vary from their native tongue. Smile

I think it's a good idea.

We will discuss it internally.

RE: Native Boards?
I mean a board for them to discuss pretty much anything, with no special topic attached to it like the other forum boards, like Game Room and so on.. without a board description about what you can talk about = no restrictions. Except from following the normal forum rules ofc.

RE: Native Boards?
I only want to remember two things:
1-If you want to creat a board, the title must be, for example "[BR]Blablabla", or "[SWE]Blablabla"
2-Of course, and unfortnatelly, if this idea is implemented, we can only open chats to the languages that we have disponible moderators that speak that language (For example, i speak portuguese).

RE: Native Boards?
I agree, about moderators, it is not really needed, maybe just "translator" who can report a translation in case something happens.

RE: Native Boards?
Nothing hard finding designated moderators for them, I'd volunteer for Swedish one ofc. And there's always possibility to use translators.

RE: Native Boards?
I like the idea. I'm not sure if they'd be used, but we'll only know once we try. Big Grin The only thing I still don't understand is that "BlaBla" english board for anything... I mean, if it's not in (Tibia) General Chit-Chat and it's not in Real-Life Board, not even in Extended Discussions... what is it? xD

Hehe, OK. Big Grin Well at the moment, everyone seems to be pretty much positive about the idea- we were only thinking that maybe, we should hold it off for a little while until our userbase grows. It's definitely something we're going to do, just when we get a few more members - heck, could be a few weeks even!
