I can't post my thread with 15 images on it, i already checked and it haves just 15 images, no emoticons. I've seen other members posting 15 images and the contest for the rpg day is for 15 images...so why cant i post it? it says the thread has more than 10 images and and it needs to be less

I'm completely new to the TibiaRP, though i've been playing at several different RP-based games.

However, i have a question; the Tibia RP server, is that one of the normal official servers or is it a private / select one that everyone play in?

Or is this just a site where players write stories, etc?

I'm not too sure if this question has already be asked or discussed, but I was wondering if you could change forums names or anything like that. If you simply can't, are we allowed to make a new account? This name is bugging me lol, I know I shouldn't have put the first thing that came to mind. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Found this site courtesy of Old Hester (double kudos ), concerning about a question on role playing.

Ill be straightforward as possible with as few turns and shockers as I can, I don't really know how to role play or um role play effectively or um........ role play well?

In short im at a loss of words of how to do it right. After coming here and reading some of the RP's you guys got going here, im to say im a little afraid to touch them and join in and these are like monsters compared to the cute little ones back at the Tibian role playing forums. Well for starters the big blocks of text scare the cr*p outta me and the in-depth of information and detail you guys put into them (its still beautiful works of art ). 2nd I feel if I do muster the courage to tamper and join in I feel ill screw something up horribly or do a plot twist that makes no sense or just not enough detail the scenery enough ect ect. and lastly well I guess I don't know how to feel comfortable adapting to a constantly changing story that I don't control.

Well that's the best way of saying my problems now I ask upon you, is there some sort of way or system or unheard of secret cult code you guys follow to do this? In short guidelines for how not how to screw up? Even if you guys wont reveal to me your secret cult code, could you at least give me some hints, tips, and whatnots? Any and all help whether small or big is greatly appreciated!

There's any BB code that allows the user to create a link to a reply or keyword just like Mirade And Rejana do in the official Discussions Boards?

I think it would be helpfull to have that when you have multiple characters or want to sumarize important points in a discussion.

Ok so if you have a character in a role play and someone else is in the same role play with one character, what happens if your character and the other character are in a role play together in the future? Do the characters remember eachother or is it a new game new people type thing?

Problems with the thread code

Hi I'm having a problem with the thread code. When I put a thread in it takes me to the Tibia main website error code message screen and gives the error, "failed".

Here is my attempt at using this code. I just copied and pasted the title of the forum thread, is that the right way to do it?

Now it seems that Chronicles is the default style (I'm not sure), I don't know a lot about board styles and that is why I haven't seen this style before.

I assume it's de style design (thats the reason why i don't post this in the bugs and mistakes section) and it does not annoys me, but i think that someone may consider this annoying.

When logging in from the bottom of the page you can easily see the borders of the "typing squares" (I don't remember how they are called in english) because the inside of the typing squares have a clearer color...

But when you use the login button at the top of the page...

it redirects you to this "login page" where you can't "easily" distinguish from the inside of the typing squares and their borders from the rest of the page...

So I was wondering if an admin/god can modify the Chronicles board style so it becomes easier to everyone to distinguish the borders of the typing squares at the login page?

PS: I just realized that the same happens when you make a new thread and you're going to write the name of the topic.
So is it posible for you to edit the board style so it becomes easier to all the forum members to use it?
By the way im not saying that the Chronicles board style is bad, in fact i think is the best of the ones available in the forum, despite those "typing squares" issues.
Even if you can't edit the board style i'll continue using the Chronicles style because i really think its the best one available in the forum.

Hi, I'm having a problem trying to upload my avatar.

I get a message that says it can not copy a file with a bmp extension.

My avatar was created from a screen shot that I took using the print screen key and copying it to paint, then cropping it to the size required by this board.

How can I convert my avatar to an appropriate format?

P.S. I hope I'm posting this in the correct place, :oops:
