So, there are those skull pillars which are very interesting to me. I wonder if they are a part of a hidden quest or something like that. I know four locations of such pillars but there might be more of them, I'm not sure. I'll post a pic:
I have tried to use skulls on the pillars in Edron and a vial of blood but it didn't work. Maybe when four persons would stand between them something would happen? Unfortunatelly I was not able to test that.
What do you think? Do any of you know about other locations of those strange skull pillars?

But is it now a myth? After the patch CIP brought in the day after the update that introduced us to the Demon Oak Quest.

I have heard of a few players completing it after the patch but ofcourse no one will spoil how they did it, if they actually did it, or even if its just luck...
Is there a hidden switch, do you need a required item, maybe there is a certain order to do the switches.. Anythin is possible!

What is you're opinion on this quest =]

Also a bonus question! > If you managed to make the quest what would you take!

It's just a shame what they are continuing to do with the rares of this game.
Quick someone tell cip, perhaps they don't know....
tibia is famous not only for the unique death penalty system, but for the great mysteries that cip creates
(it used to be called rpg in the past :o) ... and now it's been destroyed by its creator.
just an example of dwarven legs: I've been playing since dec 2003 ,and my first update was the summer 2004 one,the ankrahmun one...so.. everybody knows morguthis ,the pharaoh...and his amazing room.. and the super items there..And since this update the "legendary legs thats nobodyknows the name" was there..on the table. I mean it was 4 years and 6 months of mystery and again..the mystery was solved in a quest. Idk what they were thinking.
there are a lot of items in the same case... silver mace, pharaoh rares, demon legs, all boss items(just lol )..and possibly more ..that the rarity will be desintegrated in the same way..
Its simply a waste of time for all rpg players.
And for all rare items that remain alive: Run before cip put u in the mysterius trunk or in some demon boss loot.

A while ago an old Tibia player told me about a myth, I didn't care really but since I found a place to talk about it I think I should tell you about it, You might know about it.

Well, He told me that before the Oracle has been added to the game there was a path to main, guarded by a daemon.
It would lead to Mintwallin and from there you could reach thais -main.
There was no real level requirement but more like a skill requirement, I thought this was just jokes until I started to explore Mintwallin.

I found a path -on the left bottom of this picture- pointing west, west is rookgaard.
The books tell about an earthquake in Mintwallin which has drastically changed that part of Mintwallin, and I think that is just the update the Oracle got added.

BEWARE OF THAT HOLE!

Everyday Loui says.

Hello my friends.

I come here to exchange some ideas about the hole near Loui in the Premmium area of Rookgaard. According to Loui, that hole is the cave of an army of monsters, evryone laughts about it, including Zerbrus and Dallheim xD anyways, I feel it's a very interesting mistery to investigate. just like Scooby Doo!

So, since my parterns in the Rookgaard forums are too inactive to still trying to discover everything out there, I come here, to my roleplayer partners.

So, the first document we have are the chatlogs. Let's begin an investigation just as we can do!

Loui the mad:
I have no idea how long I've been in this hole. It seemed like an eternity!
While looking for something - which I forgot - I found that hole. I went down, even though I had no torch. And then I heard THEM! There must be dozens!
They were so many, EVERYWHERE! I could barely escape alive. I have no clue what THEY were but one more second down there and I'd have been dead!
There must be an army of them [monsters], just down this hole.
The good thing is that those horrible rats stay mostly in town. The bad thing is that they do so because of bigger monsters that would devour them outside.

Well, just with this chatlog we can make so much questions.

1. What were Loui looking for before he fell in the hole?
2. Are the more monsters than rabbits in the hole?
3. Is there someone who can tell us what happends? It's seems like Obi were with him the day he fell in the hole, because he didn't heard Obi. Any monster well-knower?
4. Billy says he is crazy. Any way to cure him?
5. Cipfried agree with the crazy version, but does not tell us the most important question. How did he became a crazy fellow?

That's for now my fellow partners.

See you

Hello .

I'll start pasting the book "The Teshial".

Quote:The Teshial were never fighters. They retreated in the early days of war to hidden refuges, not as a whole caste but only in small family groups. Their hideouts were additionally protected by strong illusionary magic and offered them peace from the madness around them. These elves developed due to meditation and a special philosophy in the art of dream magic, dramatically enhancing their initial abilities in the decades. So they began to exist almost permanently in a state of dreams, only rarely appearing now and then amidst the other elves to give them advice and try to convince some of them to join their way of life. As the war grew more and more fierce these visits became less and less frequent until they were almost a myth, even for elvenkind. In the new awakening of the world they were some of the First to appear, apparently far less disoriented then other beings. Many races welcomed their help, but their teachings seldom found dedicated listeners. After they taught a part of their secrets to some humans they found worthy, they had to see their pupils tortured by developments they judged themselves guilty of. Also, other elves put pressure on the humans to give up the secrets of dreams. They withdrew from the world of mortals and it is rumored they have physically entered the realm of dreams. The Teshial are 'typical' in appearance for elves, but they could create the illusion of almost any appearance if they so choose. Some people even say that due to their enormous control of dreams they could shape their children as they wish, giving them human or even orcish appearance. On the other hand, even people who come up with such theories go silent when asked why an elf should choose to have a child that looks that way.

Well, I will extracted a little part of the text:

"The Teshial were never fighters. They retreated in the early days of war to hidden refuges, not as a whole caste but only in small family groups. Their hideouts were additionally protected by strong illusionary magic and offered them peace from the madness around them..."

It's sound (for me) like the hidden cave where we can see Magic Walls, where an ELF boss respawn, in Shadowthorn .

What do you think about that?

Maybe we can know more about: How to remove the MWs or how to make that quest trying to get information by elves .

I was recently taking a break from Julera and playing a different world. While I was there I made some new friends which got me into exploring Desert Dungeon. There are interesting things there. While sitting in Ventrilo with them, they were talking about the Silver Mace. I can ask them for the method, although I don't have it yet, but this is what I have heard them say.

1. It is not necessarily the silver mace, but some books they read made them believe this is the case.
2. Between the Thais bridge and the desert, there is a wolf cave, you go downstairs and use a pick, it brings you to the spike sword quest. At the end there is some magic walls, behind it is a Dragon.
3. They managed either to get a bridge across to these magic walls, or take down the magic walls, I forget which, but I believe it is the second option.
4. The switches are all physical switches or tiles in the desert dungeon

Any Insight?

A little idea of my own :
In the desert dungeon, there is a room with a banshee and a teleporter, but you can't enter. I am not sure if there is a switch in there or not because I have not been in there for a while. I believe either you flip a switch in there and exit through the teleporter, or you need to go through the teleporter in that room.

Now post away

This is a thread where we can discuss the inspiration for creatures, characters and bosses in Tibia. The thought came to me when I was browsing through Tibiawiki and stumbled upon Yakchal (the head witch of Ice Witches) and thought the name and general witchiness sounded uncannily similar to a character named Yackle from the book Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, by Gregory Maguire.

Yaga the Crone, another boss seems to be the Baba Yaga from Russian Folklore.

Anyone else noticed anything similar to this during their Tibia careers?
